TruePoint 3D laser scanned the Bank of America Stadium and the Panther Statue to create a mixed-reality experience for The Famous Group and the Carolina Panthers during their home opening football game against the New York Jets. The aim was to capture the as-built conditions of the stadium and produce a detailed 3D model to be used in a live mixed reality show that enthralled 70,000 fans with a virtual panther leaping across the stadium, interacting with the environment, and tearing down a Jets flag in a dramatic display.
