    Project Details

In a significant effort to retrofit a power plant in Wyoming, TruePoint Laser Scanning was tasked with capturing the as-is conditions to assist in the pre-planning and fabrication for a new system addition, akin to a catalytic converter for vehicles. The deliverables enabled the engineering firm, operating from a different state, to virtually navigate and analyze the site as if they were physically present. This virtual access expedited the engineers' work, allowing them to quickly identify and resolve potential clashes between the new system and the existing steel structure, thus avoiding significant project delays and costs.
