TruePoint's Kansas City office was tasked with 3D laser scanning a local high school to assist an architectural firm in a large-scale redesign project. The project involved scanning the exterior facade, roof, and main interior corridors of the school. This comprehensive scanning was essential to capture the architectural features, exposed structural components, and the placement of mechanical equipment on the roof. Given the school's large and active nature, along with its multiple annexes added over the years, the existing conditions were complex. The data collected provided a precise "as-is" representation of the building, crucial for accurate planning and design.
