TruePoint was tasked with 3D laser scanning a food grade corn processing facility in Fairmont, Nebraska, targeting tanks, silos, hoppers, conveyors, support cables, machinery, equipment, cleaning house, and the loading drive thru. The objective was to create an LOD 200 Revit model of the facility, with additional floor flatness analysis and contour mapping around various tanks. Over 160 scan locations were used to gather precise data, enabling the production of accurate point clouds and detailed models.
