    Project Details

TruePoint performed comprehensive 3D laser scanning services to document the as-built conditions of two historical homes and a Four Diamond Hotel in Laredo, Texas. The properties, including the 1830s-built Casa Ortiz (23,000 square feet), the 1900s-built Zaragoza home (9,500 square feet), and the 1916-converted La Posada Hotel (26,000 square feet), are integral parts of Laredo’s heritage. The client aimed to incorporate a new Convention Center into the property and required accurate 3D models of these buildings to inform the planning and design process. TruePoint captured the architectural features such as walls, windows, doors, and fixtures, creating a Level of Development (LOD) 200 Revit model to support the project.
