    Project Details

In the Netherlands, working in three dimensions is becoming more common. Consequently, the Municipality of Groningen regularly receives 3D files from external sources and is frequently requested to provide 3D files as well. To ensure the exchangeability and transferability of data with the rest of the Netherlands, a transition from 2D to 3D working methods is necessary for the Municipality of Groningen. This shift in approach is also essential to enable the Municipality of Groningen to maintain control over its data and procedures, which includes standardizing protocols for 3D providers and conducting necessary checks on the delivered 3D files.
