In the River Bela catchment area of Cumbria, England, Storm Geomatics conducted a comprehensive river survey to update flood zones for the Environment Agency. Utilizing geospatial technology and GeoRiver® software, the project achieved high accuracy in data collection and processing. Despite challenges such as tight deadlines, strategic resource allocation ensured timely completion. The project empowered decision-makers with precise flood zone information, facilitating informed infrastructure planning and resilience against natural disasters.
